Since I received my first camera as a gift when I was ten years old, I have learned to see the world, my world, through its lens.

I photograph to capture moments, emotions, a frozen second in time. I photograph to remember. As a way to keep the geniune and spontaneous instants of our lives forever.

I love being able to capture a little piece of someone's day, a little reminder of a moment, a gesture or a smile in a photograph.

Through my abstract images I look to illustrate the universal experience of memory. This shared experience that makes us all similarly human, however different we may be.

I've studied photography at the Photographic Center North West in Seattle, the London School of Photography and Marco Museum of Contemporary Art in Monterrey, MX.

I'm based out of Seattle but was born and raised in Monterrey, Mexico. I love to travel, write, cook and enjoy the city.

Check out my Facebook page for more recent photographs or contact me to hire or ask about services and prints.

Thanks for visiting!

If you are looking for a photographer in the Boston area I highly recommend my friend, Andreina Toro. You can find her at andretorophotography.com

It's one thing to make a picture of what a person looks like, it's another thing to make a portrait of who they are.

In photography there is a reality so subtle that it becomes more real than reality. - Alfred Stieglitz

Memories are never as clear as we want them to be. They change and we change and sometimes they can feel foreign, as if they belong to someone else. But the emotions enclosed in our memories are never foreign and they are always present. The emotion attached to a specific memory is always evoked and there is always a feeling of yearning for a memory that doesn’t want to come completely into focus. These feelings - feelings of remembering - are universal and that is what I want to capture in these photographs.
